Abstract
This paper illustrates, through an educational platform, the benefits of using the mecathronic control system of a vehicle's pneumatic suspension, the components and their mode of operation and the control and automatic adjustment mode of the system. By building an educational stand which simulates the real behavior of this mecathronic system, we aim to support the comprehension of both the operation, control and automatic adjustment mode, by the localization and identification of the electric components and through the analysis regarding the diagnostication and parameterization of the system through the evaluation of physical and electrical variables, the measurement of parameters, signals and voltages and the simulation and identification of some malfunctions of the electronic and/or mechanic components.
