Dear participants to CONAT 2024,

Thank you all for being with us at this remarkable event at the Transilvania University - the International Congress of Automotive and Transport Engineering, EAEC-CONAT 2024.

The presence of personalities in the field of automotive and transport engineering from Europe, Americas and Asia, as well as the value of the scientific papers presented in the plenary sessions and the 21 technical sessions, made the congress level correspond to the requirements of a reference professional scientific event.

Summarizing the activities undertaken during the congress, we can report the following:

- there were participants from 14 countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Republic of Moldova, Poland, Romania, Spain, Turkey, USA

- 124 papers were accepted for presentation, 119 were presented. 88 papers were published in congress proceedings (with Springer)

- number of confirmed participants: 234 professors and specialists from academia and industry, from Romania; 56 participants from abroad; 176 students - a total of 466 participants.

Thank you once again and we look forward to seeing you at the next SIAR Congress, which will take place in Cluj-Napoca, in 2025, October 23-25.
