Abstract
The presentation will focus on the requirements of light and heavy duty powertrain applications for different markets and show how innovative technology packages and advanced engineering methodologies can ensure that a competitive powertrain is identified and developed for each application.
Christoph Menne will give an overview of the recent advancements in battery technology, fuel cell and combustion engine hybrid powertrains and outline how different applications and markets require different solutions. With the right tools, engineering methodology and modular vehicle platforms this powertrain complexity can be managed efficiently and competitively.
